Management and Treatment of Headache

Neuropsychological EvaluationsNeuropsychological evaluations can be important to understanding the causes of memory problems and its impact on daily activities. These evaluations are especially important for those who have suffered from a concussion, migraine, and other chronic illnesses that can impact brain functions. Our neuropsychologists at Carolina Headache Institute work closely with physicians to assist with diagnosis clarification and treatment planning.

Behavioral Approach to PainPatients with chronic pain often become disabled in the pursuit of gaining relief from their pain. We believe patients suffer more when their functioning and quality of life are impaired. Our goal is to prevent headache frequency and severity, increase quality of life, and improve the functional ability of each patient to the highest possible level through a combination of medical and behavioral interventions.
